PAYROLL SYSTEM IN TALLY
A payroll management system involves everything about an employee such as employee name, Designation, department, attendance, salary, allowances and other details. How To Activate Payroll System In Tally ERP 9
1. Open your company.
2. Press “F11” key
3. Select “Accounting Feature”
4. Make yes to “Maintain Payroll”
Employee Group: This option is used to create employee department such as Administration, Management, Sales, DEO, etc.
Units (Work): The unit responsible to create working days and hours.
Attendance/Production types: This option is used to create attendance types such (Present, Absent, Overtime)

Calculation type: On Attendance
Attendance / Leave with pay: Present
PAYROLL VOUCHER ENTRY
Attendance (Ctrl+F5): This voucher is used to insert the total number of employee’s attendance such total number of presents, absent, and overtime.
Payroll Voucher (Ctrl+F4): This voucher is used to insert salary and allowances payment details for employees.
