MICROSOFT EXCEL - INTRODUCTION

Microsoft Excel is also known as "Spreadsheet" program and Spreadsheet is an application program that is mostly used to create different types of documents such as:-

1. Marks Sheet, Result Sheet, Student Progress Reports.

2. Ledger, Voucher, Sales and Purchase Invoices, Product Quotations.    

3. Financial Report such (Profit & loss a/c, Balance sheet, etc.)

SHORTCUT KEYS IN MICROSOFT EXCEL
Shortcut key
Function
Shift + F11
To insert a new worksheet in the current workbook.
Shift + F2
To insert a new comment in the selected cell.
Shift + F3
To insert any function.
Shift + Space bar
To select an entire row.
Ctrl + Space bar
To select an entire column.
Ctrl + 1
To format the selected cells.
Ctrl + F9
To minimize the current workbook.
Ctrl + F10
To maximize an already minimized workbook.
Ctrl + left dragging
To insert automatic number incremented by one.
Ctrl + F3
To name manager.
Ctrl + Alt + F3
To define a name.
Ctrl + Shift + 4
To insert a currency sign.
